The second Bharatiya Vigyan Sammelan  2009 is dedicated to the great biologist, Prof (Dr.) J. C. Bose, to mark his 150th birth anniversary. Dr Bose was a staunch believer in Indian philosophy which enlightens the human race for finest path of living, passed through love and harmony with nature. He believed that ancient Bharatiya knowledge based on scientific principles provides the solutions for all walks of life without harming the environment. The 'use as per need, not with greed' principle is amalgamated in living culture of our society from old ages and now moderated by Western world as conservation.
